  Police Commence Investigation Into Mysterious Death Of Cows In Ondo Community leaders suggested that the disaster was due to the desecration of a sacred shrine by Fulani herders who had intruded into the shrine of the ancient deity. The Ondo State Police Command says it is investigating the cause of the recent death of some cows in Akungba-Akoko, Akoko South West Local Government Area of the state. iMagazine Publications had reported how about 50 cows died in mysterious circumstances in the community on Monday. The cows belonging to one Ibrahim Saliu were rumoured to have been poisoned. The spokesperson for the state police command, DSP Tee-Leo Ikoro confirmed the incident. Ikoro noted that the cows were given poisoned water, adding that further investigations into the matter had commenced. The Ministry of Communications and Digital Economy had, through the Nigerian Communications Commission, asked operators to block all SIM cards not linked to NIN by April 9, 2021. The deadline had caused many Nigerians to gather at offices of the National Identity Management Commission in disregard of COVID-19 protocols.   Half of people now have Covid-19 antibodies, says ONS survey ABOUT one in two people in most parts of the UK now have Covid-19 antibodies, new figures suggest. The latest estimates by the Office for National Statistics (ONS) show 50.5 per cent of people in private households in Wales are likely to have tested positive for the antibodies in the week to March 14, along with 54.7 per cent in England, 49.3 per cent in Northern Ireland, and 42.6 per cent in Scotland. The figures are for people in private households and do not include settings such as hospitals and care homes. The presence of  coronavirus  antibodies suggests someone has either had Covid-19 in the past or has been vaccinated. It takes between two and three weeks after infection or vaccination for the human body to make enough antibodies to fight Covid-19. The figures also show an estimated 79.2 per cent of people aged 80 and over in Wales were likely to have tested positive for Covid-19 antibodies in the week to March 14,

The monarch stated that he had earlier instructed butchers and other concerned persons not to sell the dead cows to the residents as the meat would be inimical to their health, adding that any meat merchant caught selling the meat of the dead cows would be prosecuted. “The cows were seen falling down mysteriously. Some said they drank water suspected to have been poisoned or that they ate poisoned plants. I have given instructions that the cows should not be sold under any circumstance since the cause of death is not known yet,” the monarch stated.   Catholic priest reportedly shot dead in Benue A Catholic Priest, Rev. Fr Fabian Ngugban of Aye Twar parish, Agu Centre near Sai, Katsina-Ala LGA has been reportedly shot dead by unknown gunmen. A source who resides in the area, Gbande U Logo told iMagazine Publications that the incident occurred at about 10 am on Tuesday morning. According to him, the gunmen invaded the community and were shooting sporadically before gunning down the priest. He said that the attack has triggered tension in the area as many fled for dear lives.
